Taj Mahal
India is one of my favourite continents. Laced in history, you can smell it in the stonework.
A diverse and mystical country of extremities and duality. Ancient forts, palaces, holy rivers, and slums, are a paradise for the senses with intoxicating beauty and colour.
I spent hours with my camera, drinking chai with locals, immersing myself in the raw visual stories that were playing out before my eyes. After 3 months of travelling solo, I still hadn’t soaked it all up. So intense is my love affair with India that I’ll always be drawn back into her enchanting embrace. The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage".
